How about using our own (=developer contributed) resources for the
Squirrelmail web site and CVS repository, and sticking with Sourceforge
for its bug/feature request tracker, mailling lists and excellent
community environment?

The only slight problem I can think of is that recreating the CVS
repository on an other server will mean also creating accounts for the
developers on that machine, but the developers are something like 15
people, right?

And of course, the biggest problem is adding some kind of administration
overhead on someone who has to take up the task of keeping the server
secure, available etc. ... But if it is a possibility (e.g. in a
University setup), I think it is a good idea.

Cheers,
Alexandros
