The patch you sent to multilogin is working great for me so far.. unfortunately I
can't say I have more than a handful of users testing this particular SquirrelMail
installation, but I think it is worth the effort to try rolling this into multilogin
as a configurable if it's not too much work.. I know I'll use it.

The new timeout_user is great! I'll put it through a larger test group this week,
but one thing I noticed that may create confusion for the end user.. when using the
Compose in a separate window option, the popup window doesn't "timeout" until you
select some activity.. even though the main window has timed out. If I click "Save
as Draft" I immediately get the "you must be signed in" page, and no draft has been
saved in my IMAP account. If I go ahead and sign back in, the previous compose
window appears (full screen which isn't quite right) but WITH the content of the
e-mail I was composing.. so I can then save as draft or send the message.

I know I've run into trouble with the "Compose in New Window" working properly -- it
always uses Javascript, and the strict conformance to SM not requiring Javascript
seems to be a little lacking.. so I don't know if this timeout with Compose in a
separate window can be handled differently, but I thought I'd bring it to your
attention to see if you have any suggestions or ideas.

By the way, THANK YOU.. this is the kind of functionality that keeps the end users
from pestering us about losing e-mail.. even though we tell them they may loose mail
if they don't save often, they never listen and this really helps!
