I'm currently playing around with Courier on Linux after having used
Mercury/32 for a while now as our IMAP server. It seems to work great and
I'm happy except for one oddity. No matter what changes I make to
config.php I can't get all of my other folders to be anything other than
children of INBOX. I understand that Courier uses INBOX. as the IMAP
namespace for your personal folders and shared for shared folders but I'd
like to have folders appear on the same tree level as INBOX if I can to
prevent user confusion. Here are my current config.php settings relative
to Folders. Is there anything else I should try?

Folder Defaults
1. Default Folder Prefix : INBOX.
2. Show Folder Prefix Option : false
12. Default Sub. of INBOX : false
13. Show 'Contain Sub.' Option : false
16. Auto Create Special Folders : false
17. Folder Delete Bypasses Trash : true
18. Enable /NoSelect folder fix : false

IMAP Settings
--------------
6. Authentication type : login
7. Secure IMAP (TLS) : false
8. Server software : courier
9. Delimiter : .
