Chris Thanks, this was exactly my problem.
Enabling popups from my SquirrelMail server is sufficient to allow Compose in another window to work with Mozilla. When it wasn't doing anything at all I was guessing at what should happen, hence my incorrect guess about copying to other folders. Thanks to all. Tony > I don't know if this is related, but if you have Compose in a New Window set and your browser supports blocking pop-ups, this might kill the Forward button's Compose Window from poping up.. It seems to work fine here in 3 different browsers, 5 different computers, and 2 different SquirrelMail versions.
