It is generally best to use the name (not IP) of the domain you assigned
to your machine before you worried about adding virtual domains.  Vlogin
will allow you to customize it for each domain after that.  The domain
setting is flexible and shouldn't be a killer.

Lots of info about this is on the SM web site.  It doesn't really matter
where you put it, as long as your web server can see it and you have php
installed and the correct handlers for .php files, etc., which it sounds
like you may not have completed yet.
