I have been using Squirrelmail 1.4.1 since basically it was released. Recently,
I installed Horde and now (coincidentally?) I am getting session errors when
trying to login.

Notice: A session had already been started - ignoring session_start() in
/usr/local/www/data/applications/squirrelmail/src/redirect.php on line 40

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output
started at /usr/local/www/data/applications/squirrelmail/src/redirect.php:40)
in /usr/local/www/data/applications/squirrelmail/functions/i18n.php on line
1611

I have looked in /tmp and deleted all session data to no avail. This is
definitely server-side and I cannot figure out what the problem is.

Do applications that require sessions need to be run on different IP's? Don't
think it should make a difference...

Could it be that somehow Horde's sessions are conflicting with Squirrelmail's?

I'm really only running these 2 applicatoins, but I suppose I could install a
3rd that uses sessions and see what happens. I literally haven't touched the
squirrelmail directory since July and just started getting this error this
weekend.

Any ideas/help are greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Mike B.
