I'm trying to upgrade to squirrelmail to 1.4.2 from 1.2.11. It worked wonderfully for me, but then several people were having trouble with this error:
ERROR : Could not complete request.
Query: FETCH (FLAGS UID RFC822.SIZE INTERNALDATE BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS (Date To Cc From Subject X-Priority Content-Type)])
Reason Given: Error in IMAP command received by server.
It wasn't consistent; I tested someone's account and I logged in fine, but the next time I tried to view the inbox, I got that error.
So I thought I would try it with dovecot on port 144. I'd tested dovecot with squirrelmail before (1.2.11) and everything worked fine. A couple of other accounts worked fine with the new version (sm 1.4.2 + dovecot). But my account, which uses some filters, got this message:
ERROR : Connection dropped by imap-server.
Query: SEARCH CHARSET ISO-8859-1 ALL To {23} [EMAIL PROTECTED]I have that filter set up to put mail from a particular list into a special folder, and it's always worked. It worked with squirrelmail 1.2.11 + dovecot, so I'm wondering if something has been changed in how message filters work since 1.2.11, or am I just having a very bad day? 1.4.2 is giving me trouble with both courier and dovecot, and I would really like to upgrade.
I'm using these things: redhat 7.3 apache-1.3.27-3 php-4.1.2-7.3.6 dovecot-0.99.10 (compiled against openssl-0.9.7b) on port 144 squirrelmail 1.4.2 with these settings:
SERVER SETTINGS: 4. IMAP Server : localhost 5. IMAP Port : 144 6. Authentication type : login 7. Secure IMAP (TLS) : false 8. Server software : other 9. Delimiter : detect FOLDER SETTINGS: 3. Trash Folder : Trash 4. Sent Folder : Sent 5. Drafts Folder : Drafts
These settings worked for me with squirrelmail 1.2.11 + dovecot, but aren't working with squirrelmail 1.4.2 + dovecot. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you,
