"The browser" :) likes to put non-braking space instead of space symbols.
SquirrelMail tries to fix it, but currently fix works only with iso-8859-x
and cp125x encodings. I am not sure what symbol is put by IE6 in gb2312. I
think this encoding does not have non braking space symbol. Maybe browser
puts there "ideographic space" (gb2313 = 0x2121, unicode = 0x3000)

Looks like symbols are taken from different encoding. Are you sure that
you are forwarding email encoded in gb2312?
