[SM-USERS] compiling uw imap so that login is enabled

Hello all   Could someone please help me with this:   I've installed uw imap, along with squirrelmail, openssl and xinetd on a RedHat 8 server.  The server is using PAM, so I did the "make lnp" install for imap.  When I try to log in I get the "unknown user or password incorrect" error.  In /var/log/messages and on a telnet session to the imap server on port 143, I get info that tells me "login disabled".  From reading in this mailing list it seems that a recompile enabling login is required, but a can't find info on how to do this.  There also doesn't seem to be any documentation on the UW website for this.  Does anyone know what command I should use or how I should go about it?   Any help would be much appreciated.   Kevin de Wet
