Hello everyone, I recently completed a IIS --> MYSQL --> Squirrelmail 1.4.2 installation attempt. Everything seemed to go quite smoothly until my first login attempt, at which point I received the following error in my web browser:
Preference database error (not found). Exiting abnormally The addressbook and userprefs tables do in fact exist, having been created with the queries provided on the squirrelmail site. (Using the ODBC connector, I have been able to access the tables from a remote workstation.) There doesn't seem to be an obvious permissions problem (my 'mail' user is able to log into MYSQL and access these tables). I used the conf.pl script to create my configuration for Squirrelmail, but it also doesn't appear to have done anything out of the ordinary. If anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know...it's 1:00 AM and I'm out of ideas :(.
