I'm wondering if I am just missing something since this seems like it would be a rather useful plugin (though this is obviously just the perspective of someone using SM in our particular ISP environment), but a true trash _pruning_ plugin doesn't appear to exist..
Has anyone else solved this problem in their own way that they could offer some insight into?
Are other people just pruning trash folders through their IMAP servers?
With Cyrus, for example, there are utilities to expire mail from named folders. We do this by automatically deleting email from folks Spam and Trash folders that is more than 3 weeks old. It would be easy enough to do the same with Sent if that was really what you wanted.
