I assume you are talking about SIEVE filters plugin (avelsieve). It is not
part of the Squirrelmail distribution.

"Notification ID" = an ID that could be used for cancelling the notify
action later in a SIEVE script. Since it is not used currently and it
seems to confuse people, I've removed it at some point.

"Parameters" = the destination that the notification should be sent to --
an email address, an SMS number, an ICQ number, whatever. Again, the
wording has been changed in recent versions so as not to confuse.
