Peggy,

I believe the "forward" action is acheived by putting a .forward file in
the user $HOME directory. Mail delivery agents check for this file and
read it's contents to determine how to act. FTP is used to create the file
in the $HOME directory. This works completely outside of IMAP.

Hi,

Does anyone know why we need the FTP access for the vacation and
forwarding pluggin? ie. why do I need FTP to access to IMAP account home
directories?

Thanks in advance,
Peggy
