Thanks for the suggestion Carsten. However, after experimenting with the forwarding in the index.php file, I concluded this wasn't the problem. I still don't know what the problem is, but it appears to be some sort of PHP-confusion. If I go into a different browser, and cut and paste its html (from the "Page Source" menu item) into a new src/login.php file, Galeon has no trouble reading that. But it absolutely refuses to display the php code that generated it. If I try to view the html page source with galeon, it shows me the page source from whatever the last page it was on. The version I have (1.2.7) is the one that came standard with my RedHat 9 installation, so it is hardly unusual. I tried upgrading the RPM, but it seemed I needed to update alot of other RPMs to do so. Then I tried upgrading the source, but had trouble compiling. I think I'll just use a different browser for viewing mail. It does seem rather odd though. I gather no one else has had similar troubles? ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
