James,
I am using qmail as my mailserver with DBMAIL as storage interface for my mail. now I just got to find out where to turn off UID on qmail.. I saw that UID is being fetched for all the mail I have instead of just fetching a page of UID. thanks, Robert > --- > Is there a setting in SM where SM fetches only > the messages displayed on the screen instead of SM fetching > the entire email in the mailbox and caches the emails when > it is time to display part of the page index? > > SM seems to work great if you only have a few messages in the mailbox > but once you got thousands, it spends too much time > getting all the messages at once.
