Hi

sm 1.4.2
debian woody
clients: win XP or w2k with IE 6.0
using SSL

some thimes there is a error message like: can't find page ....
and i have to restart webmail with login. mostly with large mails (many
lines)

i have found this:
Internet Explorer 6 (Windows)
Status: Works quickly and beautifully
Issues: Problems with POSTing information to SSL websites with HTTP
Keep-Alive enabled after installing security patch 832894. See
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS04-004.mspx and
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=831167

on this link:
http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/en_US/SupportedBrowsers

and it seems to be exactly the problem i have. i have customers using IE
with, or without SP1, and with or without sec-patch. all have the same
problem.

are there any fixes for this, or some workarround?
telling my clients to use other browser (better one) is ok for me, but not
for the customer.

any hints?

cheers

reto
