1. are you running php in safe mode? create file named test.php in your squirrelmail install directory. put "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" code there. without double quotes. Open this file in browser (http://your-squirrelmail-host/some-path/test.php) and check your php configuration options. Please note, that if your squirrelmail data directory is not in squirrelmail tree, you need to check it's php settings too.
