I installed Apache 2.0 with PHP support and tried to run SM there instead. Strangely enough everything seems to work now. I guess that is good enough for the moment, but I'd still like to know why it wouldn't work in IIS.
Well, thanks for your help so far. If you find out how to make it work in IIS, plz let me know.
The multiple logins are a normal part of SquirrelMail and are nothing to worry about. The password gets stored in a cookie automatically, so your browser has to support cookies. SM works fine with IIS, it appears that there was something unusual with your IIS installation and/or the version of PHP you used.
