For some time now we have been experiencing memory issues when running Squirrelmail (as in our httpd processes appear to run away - typically when someone is using the compose function in SM). Today we upgraded to version 1.4.3 of SM on two servers and one came to a grinding halt and the other was struggling.
We are running Solaris 8 on V120 Sun servers. One is running php version 4.2.3 and the other is running php version 4.3.2. I've reverted to versions 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 of SM and things are back to normal but I'd sure like to track down what these issue are. If anyone else has experienced such issues I would appreciate some feedback. Cheers. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [EMAIL PROTECTED] UNIX Systems Administrator Research School of Pacific & Asian Studies Australian National University ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Phone: +61-2-6125-4160 Mobile: 0408 622 647 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. >From Windows to Linux, servers to mobile, InstallShield X is the one installation-authoring solution that does it all.
