Could you please extract the exact subject line with help from "view header". The proper format is: =?charset?encoding?encoded_string_without_spaces?= In most cases those subject lines contain wrong encodings. In example a <space> is not allowed in the encoded part and if there are spaces squirrelmail treats it as an unencoded subject. If that's the case you have to ask the sender of that mail to fix his mail client because I don't like work arounds in SquirrelMail for displaying wrong encoded subjects generated by faulty email clients. If email clients keep accepting wrong encoding we never get rid of those incompliant email clients.
