graphics specifics: I get letters from "voice of the martyrs" for
example. before there were colors and pictures. now there is just the words of the letter.
I still don't understand. Please give *specifics*.
as to question 2: it takes me immediately to login . i log in automatically and it takes me to am error message and makes me click again.
You log in automatically? Are you using the login_auto plugin? What error message? What do the logs say? Again, no specifics = no answers.

and why the error message when i point favorites (explorer) to squirrel mail. how can i point favorites directly to the log-in page?
You probably have it pointed to http://yourserver.com/webmail/src/webmail.php or similar. Please change the last part of that address (the webmail.php part) to be "login.php" (without the quotes), so it looks more like this: http://yourserver.com/webmail/src/login.php
