I'm about to install IMAP-Proxy on my Whitebox Linux 3.0 ES
based on Redhat 3.0 ES server, thought I'd run it by the pro's first.
After compiling the program to make SM use IMAP-Proxy,
IMAP Server needs to be change to use ip/port.

eh?

Create a virtual hosts for my SM.
Create necessary IPTables accept rules.

none of this has anything to do with IMAPProxy... at least unless you are also making it available to the outside world. If you are using it between SM and IMAP, simply set it to a non-standard port, point SM to that port and you're done.
