Hi Dean, Dean Montgomery reportedly babbled: > Hi Rich, > >>> I Just tested Squirrel Mail on another more up-to-date system: >>> - Apache 1.3.33 >>> - PHP 4.3.9 >>> - FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE-p8 >>> >> >> So did it work?? You did not say if your test was successul.. > > No it did not fix the problems.
Hmmm... So what I am assuming here is that you setup a BSD machine with SM 1.4.3a, PHP 4.3.9, and Apache 1.3.33. What IMAP server did you use on the BSD box?? Are you saying that you can not read mail on the new BSD test machine either?? Are you sending mail to this BSD box and trying to read it there and it won't? Or are you using this BSD box to retieve mail off of the IBM IMAP server?? If you are tring to read the BSD IMAP server and it is failing there also I would start to look at how you are configuring your SM, PHP, Apache and IMAP servers as it is pretty well known that SM works with the mainstream IMAP servers bundled with most FreeBSD and Linux distros. Anyone out there have some comment on this problem for Dean? I am running out of suggestions.. -R > --- snip --- > >> Have you tried selecting a different IMAP server support option in >> the SM conf.pl setup?? > > Yes. Yes I tried all of them with no luck.
