... but now I get a crappy "exp" (because I changed this from "empty" in
the plugins/empty_folders/functions.php line 217) against every single
folder in my folder list.

What I'd rather have, is a single link or button enabling "Compact
folders" or "Expunge". Just like Mozilla/Thunderbird has. Sorry, Paul :)
