importantly, please don't confuse people here: there is in fact a plugin
called "Server Side Filter" that will allow you to manage procmail or
maildrop filter files, BOTH of which are applications that can sort mail
UPON ARRIVAL, among other things.  Sieve is NOT the only way to do that,
and if this person already has procmail installed, it is highly doubtful
that that plugin will be relevant at all in his context.  He should use
"Server Side Filter" instead.  It will do EXACTLY what he was asking.

I guess I should have a look at "Server Side Filters" SM plug-in :-)

I'm just trying to keep my system as "vanilla" as practical... coding the procmailrc file manually isn't as tough as it first appears. :-) Especially for the simple task of sorting items to folders based on "to", or "from" address. I think I just scratched the surface of procmail filtering. :-) I really like having it sorted as it arrives though...
