I have installed qmail with vpopmail and squirrelmail as web client, I want my clients to change their passwords from the squirrelmail, is these passwords stored in mysql using vpopmail. Previously do discharge (download) the plugin change_mysqlpass-3.2-1.2.8.tar.gz and does it configure but when I want to change the password does it take out me the message that the old password doesn't coincide with the database, when configuring the plugin he requests you the encriptacion type, that encriptacion type uses vpopmail? I proved with the three options (unix, mysql, md5) and he appears me the same error
That error has nothing to do with password encryption. The old password is verified against what SM gets from you on the login page. Please enable verbose error logging (per http://squirrelmail.org/wiki/wiki.php?MailingListPostingGuidelines) to make sure there isn't a PHP error causing this problem.
