I'm a gentoo linux user, and just completed a system update. Now I'm getting the message:
Bad request: The IMAP server is reporting that plain text logins are disabled. Using CRAM-MD5 or DIGEST-MD5 authentication instead may work. Also, the use of TLS may allow SquirrelMail to login. Please contact your system administrator and report this error.
After entering passwords. Came home any my Mozilla and Thunderbird sessions were dead as well. Toggling SSL fixed those. Any clues on patching SM up? I rather like the idea of not passing my account and password information around in clear-text, so would like to move forward rather than back.
