Doing what? Please describe the issue instead of only putting it in short form in the subject.
Ideally I'd love to be able to just plug my Treo into the Linux box (or do it over the network/internet) and sync up my contacts with the address book.

Currently, addressbook_import_export plugin is the only way to import/export addresses, and there is no synch functionality that I know of. The format has to be CSV; I have no idea how palm/treo attempt imports/exports, but I suspect they might use vcards, which are still under development in 1.5.x. Maybe ask Jimmy or Tomas, as I think one of them may have better idea if import/export in that format is on the plate.
I currently have v1.5.0
Try upgrading to 1.5.1 and you'll like it.
