Please state the fact that you are referring to the HTML_Mail plugin, not the standard compose window. You NEED to be more detailed when you are asking us to help you. If you are NOT referring to the HTML_mail plugin, then Options->Display Prefs(Compose Prefs in 1.5.1)->Width of Compose Window and Height of Compose Window are what you want to change.
And if I choose to use HTML to compose e-mails then I can only see a few lines in the compose box since the HTML toolbars take up several.
Yet once again, you need to read the plugins list archives to see that this is fixed but still in development and you need to ask offlist for the beta if you want it now now now.
