I use PINE, too. But not so much since getting more used to SQM, which is pretty awesome. One feature PINE has is the ability to save an email in a local folder by entering, or selecting a folder in the Fcc text box which in pine is under the CC or BCC box. I have no idea what the problems of adding such a thing, but could it be?
Problem is that there is no concept of the local file system with SM. SM is meant to be platform-independent, so it ONLY talks to the IMAP server.
Right now I have to either go through the sent-items folder or CC/BCC myself so I get a copy to file.
So maybe this will do: http://squirrelmail.org/plugin_view.php?id=28
This is very useful when I email my clients and want a complete 'paper trail' of our correspondence. Many thanks for a nice product. I have SQM running at work and home.
