Perhaps as well to suggest a workaround? mail.barlaeus.nl is running SM
1.5.1 CVS (also on Red Hat RHAS3) and only offers https. To do this,
Apache is configured to listen both on 80 and 443, but both the external
firewall and port forwarder, and iptables on the machine are configured
only to let external/internal traffic through to 443. The external
firewall forwards 443 to 443, so Jonathan's anomaly doesn't occur.
