Fedora uses Dovecot by default. Dovecot stores emails in maildir format by
default.

Slackware uses UW by default. UW stores mails in mbox format.

Install Dovecot 0.99.14 from the source and use same config as in Fedora
or convert maildirs to mboxes. Use of maildirs is better solution for
bigger mailboxes.
