The easiest way right now is to export/download each one as a user and re-upload when the backend is changed. I should write a tool that can do that for you as an admin, but.... So the only thing I can think of is to either figure out how to add yourself as an owner to all the calendars on your system so you can see and export them yourself or to place a small hack in the system that mimicks the same thing.
