Open plugins/compatibility/functions.php in plain text editor. Find
is_defined('SM_VERSION') call in line 113. replace 'is_defined' with
'defined'
PHP does not have function is_defined() and constants are tested with
defined() function (http://www.php.net/defined)
And as Rainer said, you are using incorrect compatibility plugin version.
change_passwd 4.0 depends on compatibility 1.x plugin.
I strongly recommend use of change_pass plugin and poppassd server on Fedora.
