On paper, that sounds reasonable, though I'm not sure it's something that
is likely to be added any time soon, as recent versions of the Advanced
Calendar plugin have a search feature (though I don't remember if the file
backend is up to date with that feature; it might only be for the SQL
backend at this time) among a lot of other usability enhancements. Feel
free to contact off list to get ahold of a recent copy of that plugin.
