automatic login

I have a webserver on NT that uses MS SQL7 to authenticate users to 
login in to our site.  I need to be able to pass the userid and 
password to my qmail(vpopmail, sqwebmail) http server that will 
automatically login the user.  They will see the folders list page 
verses the login page.  Can this be done.  I tried playing around with 
the url 

qmail.sailnet.com/sqwebmail?login=jmoore&passwd=test

etc....


No Luck..


Any help??
