Playing around with 1.0 a bit...

The autoconf stuff still produces a tree that won't build out of the
box under solaris, due to sun's /bin/sh not understanding the "~"
convention. Dunno if you'd call this a bug in sqwebmail or solaris.
(Yes, I'm making and submitting a diff. :)

--enable-webpass=vpopmail is still not working for me. Any attempts
to change a vchkpw user's password returns a page with the error:

        Unable to change password.

That error is not from the vpopmail or sqwebmail code, but is actually
in the ...sqwebmail-1.0/sqwebmail/html/en-us/preferences.html template
document:

  [#@<P><FONT COLOR="#FF0000" SIZE=+1>Unable to change
  password.</FONT><BR>&nbsp;<BR>|Date|Sender|Subject#]

This is using (and apparently successfully linking against) vpopmail
4.8.7 on Solaris 2.6, configured as follows:

        --with-htmllibdir=/home/httpd/htdocs/sqwebmail \
        --enable-cgibindir=/home/httpd/cgi-bin \
        --enable-imagedir=/home/httpd/icons \
        --enable-imageurl=/icons/ \
        --enable-webpass=vpopmail \
        --with-authvchkpw \
        --without-authpwd \
        --without-authshadow \
        --without-authpam \
        --without-authuserdb \
        --without-authmysql \
        --without-authldap \
        --without-authdaemon \
        --enable-mimetypes=/home/httpd/conf/mime.types \
        --with-cachedir=/home/vpopmail/webcache \
        --with-cacheowner=vpopmail

Pointers from anybody who has gotten this to work would be
appreciated.

(I did a bit more debugging on this in my previous post on the subject
about a month ago; I'll dig it up if anybody's interested. Yes, the
file permissions are correct as far as I can determine.)
