Most of the time it's a BIF, as you say, and the user has spent too long
writing the email, and when they hit the send button it bounces them to the
expired login page, and they have lost their email...but they hit send, so
they assume it sent...
That said, have you made any changes to the sendit.sh script that may cause
this sort of thing?
