Authorization

Hi

I have qmail and sqwebmail running on my SuSE 7.1 Linux system.
Everything seems to run just fine, I am just wondering why I have
to log on with username and not username@domain as stated in the
documentation?
I am using authpam for authorization. 

I am planning to install vpopmail to handle virtual domains. Are there
any issues that I need to resolve first regarding to the authorization
question above.
