when I try to use sqwebmail for the first time I get
sqwebmail: maildircache: Cache create failure - cannot change to bin
in my /var/log/messages
I've been doing some research and it seams its a permissions issue I reset
the permissions: chown bin:bin /var/run/sqwebmail
and still get the same error. I've reset the permissions on every
sqwebmail directory I could find and still same message.
Hint: randomly screwing around with file permissions will never solve
anything.
'make install' installs everything correctly, with proper ownership and
permissions.
Is there any particular reason you decided to randomly change ownership and
permissions, after you did 'make install'?
