Ok, I know that there is info on this somewhere, but I can't find it.

Got logindomainlist working. Worked out how to place templates for virtual domains, but still cannot figure out how to get authentication working on virtual domains.

Using postfix, dovecot for IMAP/POP3. Postfix is successfully dealing with 5 domains at the moment. But Sqwebmail doesn't want to play. Get rid of logindomainlist and it goes back to dealing with the default domain without a problem.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Cheers
G.

Its always the simple things :-) Yes, a change of ownership fixed the problem with the internal server error, thanks Jeff.

I now have another minor issue which I am sure is in the manuals somewhere so I'm RTFM'ing at the moment - all logins now result in an Invalid user ID or password. I know I have seen a note somewhere on this .......... ;-)

Cheers
George

Hi All,

I have successfully installed sqwebmail on my server, which is running
Fedora Core 1, Apache, Postfix and Dovecot. It works fine, but as soon
as I create the logindomainlist file, its game over. Going to the URL
produces an Internal Server error, even if the logindomainlist is empty.
Delete the file and it is happy again and works.

(Hi, George.) Sounds like either permisssions -on- the file are not
right, or something -in- the file is not as expected. You'd want to
make sure the file is readable by SqWebMail and/or the web server; and
perhaps check to see if there are non-ASCII characters in the file.

(With Perl CGI scripts, uploading via binary FTP instead of ASCII FTP
is enough to produce an Internal Error. I don't know whether that might
apply to SqWebMail, written in C, or to 'logindomainlist', but it would
be worth considering.)
