I do not have access to Xenial to try to reproduce, but maybe it helps to get
all log messages from kamailio start to the crash. Set first debug=3 in
kamailio.cfg, then start kamailio and reproduce the issue. Take all log
messages printed by kamailio (usually to /var/log/syslog) and send them over.
There should be a lot with `DEBUG: ...`.
