I can confirm the script execution continues now. So this bug seems solved.
I might be misunderstanding the behaviour (or documentation) for the via-branch
optional function parameter. When not specifying this parameter, it always
results in the error `can't get Via branch/extra ID`. When I set the parameter
to `"none"`, it works as expected.
Anyway, thanks for the swift resolution.
