errata - the values of the global parameters were wrong -- actually the
above three lines should be:

memlog=1
memdbg=1

which one exactly? Just send output of 'kamailio -V'.
Also, watch the log messages with debug=3 and get the one related
to the error messages to see which module is executing that command.
