Position:              Reporting Analyst           

Location:              Columbia, MD   

Salary:                   Open, based on experience        

Terms:                  Contract (2 months)       

Hours:                   Monday-Friday, Standard            

 

Responsibilities:

 

.         Ensure the timely and accurate generation of all internal and
client reporting

.         Develop and produce a set of standard reports and support ad hoc
reporting requirements as needed

.         Analyze, interpret and report operational performance trends of
various programs & identify areas performing outside of expected results,
including tracking of performance against client service level agreements

.         Assist in preparation of management analysis and presentations

.         Develop efficiencies to increase the effectiveness of reporting
and document requirements for required system enhancements

.         Maintain a reporting schedule and documentation of reporting
procedures.  Develop audit process to ensure data integrity and efficiency.

.         Perform ad hoc duties in accordance to business needs

 

Necessary Skills / Qualifications:

 

.         3 - 5 years experience in reporting and analytical role

.         Strong proficiency with Crystal Reports (Version XI) and SQL
Server 

.         Solid experience with MS Office applications, including strong
proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint 

.         Strong analytical and problem solving skills and abilities.
Business acumen is presumed

.         Ability to interface with multiple users across the organization
and effectively project manage reporting requirements from start to finish

.         Intensive focus on user needs in defining user requirements and
retrieving accurate information/reporting from data sources

.         Attention to details, in particular as it relates to compliance
and accuracy of data

.         Strong knowledge and comprehension of technology and data
management used in the process of collecting, storing and retrieving data

.         Ability to work in a rapidly changing and growth oriented
environment with regularly changing priorities and developing opportunities

.         Demonstrate strong communication (both verbal and written) and
customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and
concisely

.         Ability to manage own work flow and meet deadlines while
responding to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external)

.         Bachelor's Degree Required
