Spring, Hibernate, JSF/Richfaces, Maven.*
*Job Scope:*
As Senior Developer, you will be a critical part of the Portico Software
Development Team, performing complex software application product design,
system analysis and programming activities, complex bug verification,
testing and support for assigned products.

*Additional Roles and responsibilities:*
· Evaluates, designs, plans and programs complex software solutions.
· Participates in design meetings with senior members of Software
Development.
· Performs complex bug verification, testing and program support for
assigned projects.
· Serves as a team leader as the need arises within the Software
Development Department.
· Understands the requirements for assigned projects, including
target environment and business needs.
· Assists internal and external customers in resolving operating
problems.
· Sales and marketing - assists with sales RFPs, conference calls,
and perhaps product demonstrations when required.
· Client Support – on-site client support when required.
· Training - assists with client training when required.
*Qualifications:*
· 5+ years of experience in the field of software development,
including experience managing technical resources
· Some healthcare industry experience preferred
· Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
· Extensive knowledge of J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC),
including Java web-based applications
· Experience with Swing
· Experience working with EMR or PMS systems is a plus
· Knowledge of XML technologies, SQL and Oracle Databases
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
· Experience with Agile methodologies
· Unit testing experience with JUnit
· Experience with Websphere or Weblogic preferred
· Experience with the following development tools/libraries: Ant,
Log4J, CVS
· Experience with relational database design and modeling
· Thorough understanding of technical architecture, internet
technologies and infrastructures
· Excellent oral and written communication
· Knowledge of industry best practices
· Bachelor's degree required
