*Title : Sr SQL DBA Location :SW Florida* *Duration : 6 months + Rate :* *$55 to 60* *Job Description * JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Database Administrator\Developer is responsible for T-SQL programming, trouble shooting, performance tuning, developing high-availability strategies, capacity planning, designing database solutions, backups and monitoring of business critical ecommerce production and non production MS SQL Database servers. The candidate will be working with ecommerce team reporting to ecommerce team lead. In addition the Senior Database Administrator will administer, maintain, develop and recommend policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's databases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Development of SSIS packages, SSRS reports along with stored procedures, functions and view. Optimizing and performance tuning on SQL Server transact sql codes. Installation, configuration, Troubleshooting and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 R2. Implementation of SQL Server in a multi-node Failover Cluster Configuration. Physical database design and engineering to fit the server hardware. Replication, log shipping, Multi-instance clusters, and other data transfer methodologies. Performance tuning on the server, database and query level. Perform application code enhancements such as architecture, development, design, test and support. Providing Security Models and auditing.
