We currently have a *Long Term Contract* opportunity for a *Network Architect* with our client located in *Columbus, Ohio.* Our Client is looking for a Senior Architect 1 (SAR1) with expertise in Voice over IP (VoIP) and Unified Communications (UC) to provide assessment services, planning, and guidance to help with the transition to VolP. Assist the agency with the OIT-mandated transition to VoIP/UC. *SCOPE:* • Review, understand the current state of the Client's telephony configuration, document feedback on the current plan for preparing the Client's infrastructure for transitioning to VoIP. • Provide assessments, regarding the potential VoIP and UC solutions available to the Client. • Perform tasks related to the preparation, planning, implementation of the VoIP infrastructure build up. • Prepare literature, presentations, and other relevant documentation. • Provide ongoing direction and guidance, based on industry best practices, to technical and business units within the agency. • Monitor the transition to VoIP on a daily basis, make recommendations for refinement as necessary. • Knowledge Transfer to the agency IT staff to enable the successful transition to VoIP/UC. *REQUIRED SKILLS: * Candidate must be able to provide verifiable, demonstrable experience in the following: • 4 years- network/IP Telephony administration and support, • 3 years- network environments, including network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs with multiple Unified Communications solutions, which must include Microsoft and Cisco solutions, experience with e911, ACD and IVR, as they relate to VoIP/UC solutions, • 5 years-designing VoIP solutions, Leadership roles on at least 3 large implementations of similar size and complexity, • 5 years- experience with solutions that met 99.999% Please email your MS Word resume to *[email protected]* and include the completed skills-matrix in the body of your email.
