Must be an expert in Unix shell scripting and Unix commands. Must be an expert at administrator level for subversion. Must have admin level skills for various build/continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson, Nexus repository manager, maven. Must understand the build procedure using ant, maven or gradle. Must understand various code deployment methods. Must have Weblogic 10.3.4 application server and Apache tomcat webserver knowledge. Must have hands on experience on weblogic server start-up/shutdown/config edit/deployment/clustering/JMS/JDBC. Complete understanding of Release management and change management process. Good to have working knowledge on Atlasssian JIRA. Basics of PL/SQL, JAVA, PERL is a must have skill. Active VOS Admin skills are good to have. Good to have hands on experience on installation of any COTS product. Good to have working knowledge of tools like TOAD. *Role & Responsibilities:* * * Responsible for deployments on various load lines/environment on daily basis. Should be able to troubleshoot various deployment issues, and engage the appropriate team if needed. Should be having excellent communication skills, analytical skills. Should be able to take the end to end responsibility for any task and be able to safeguard, mitigate the risk if any using. Troubleshooting various weblogic issue related to server start-up and Should be able to handle highest Level of escalation. Participating in deployment planning meeting. Handing Production Deployments for Major and minor release.
