*Title : MDM Architect* *Location : Multiple Location* *Duration : Long term* *Description of position* The MDM Architect will be part of the Master Data Management (MDM) Competency team. This person will be part of a larger solution team which designs, develops, implements and supports the broader Product, Supplier. Customer MDM platforms and services to meet business needs. This individual will demonstrate strong architectural, leadership and technical skills, with an extensive experience base from which to draw from. The candidate selected will be responsible for the leadership, oversight and guidance of a diverse and expanding product team (development, support, quality assurance, etc.). This is an excellent opportunity to work on various internal and external applications focused on automating and modernizing the Product Information Management, the Supplier Management, the Customer Management processes. This person will design and implement multiple Master Data Management projects based on multiple MDM platforms with various domain. This will require extensive experience to ensure the solution implemented follows accepted solution and integration patterns and interacts successfully with existing and new applications as they are designed and implemented. *Tasks and responsibilities* Participate in Design and Build of different MDM domains Act as team lead in leading and mentoring others Participate in managing code and configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configurations and controls, code integrity and work closely with platform team Ability to coordinate across teams, working closely with peers to ensure the appropriate focus and sense of urgency is applied to all production issues Work with third party suppliers and vendors for support, upgrades and implementations Build collaborative relationships within the organization Provides assistance in root cause analysis for service interruptions Interface with and provide technical leadership to others in the IT division and business to address ongoing business needs. Play a key project role in the selection, design and implementation of new technologies Document the application infrastructure and teach/share with others as necessary Participation in projects; providing work estimates, partnering with others to design and execute on projects that enhance system availability or application capabilities *Required skills, abilities, and certifications* 5+ years' experience designing/implementing MDM solutions into existing environments Strong communication skills with the ability to concisely and effectively communicate across teams Experience in at least 2 Master Data Management domains Experience successfully integrating MDM into existing environments Ability to collaborate with other technical experts and develop solution and functional design documents Solid understanding of Application security, Databases (Oracle or DB2) and MQ Messaging and Broker Ability to quickly understand current environments and to use that information to build stable, responsive and secure solutions Ability to guide and mentor others through the design, build and implementation phases of system deployments Experience building solutions in a distributed architecture and ability to understand the interactions from end to end High end technical experience reviewing proposed solutions and selecting the best fit for the applications and architecture Ability to explain complex subjects to the audience with wide variety of technical skills Strong critical thinking and analysis skills and exceptionally strong documentation skills Responsible, conscientious, organized, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision Team player - must be friendly, communicative, open, honest, thoughtful and committed.
